I had this for a long time. LONG TIME unopened.. not feeling like trying new stuff. We get tired of gimmicks. Seems like that’s all it’s been since Adult Coloring took over the supply and demand of art medium circa 2016. I got this in a Curated art box I keep forgetting to cancel. I mean the brushes alone make it worth it to be honest… I got this and thought it was another pad of sample paper. If anything it would be some tissue paper thing that you add water too and washed out color comes out and all that remains is grit. I was wrong. So wrong. Last night before chucking it I decided to see what it’s about. Took a heavily loaded brush with water, got some sopped up and plunked it on a.. well.. sample bit of watercolor paper. When I say I said bad words when the pigment took over the piece of paper, I mean it never stood a chance. Those little pieces of paper are chocked full of pigment and are not to be underestimated. Before I may have thought $20 for some sample sized pans? No. This little book, if intended like traditional watercolor, will last months. It’s concentrated.. and the colors are stunning. It easily acted like watercolor and felt to difference (after respecting it of course). It’s what I would call a REAL travel sized set but will full-sized product. I came here to the website to see what else I needed. It’s truly amazing.

I'm a novice and I watercolor for fun. I'm an "ultralight" backpacker and these are the lightest set I've found. I also love how low-profile these are, they slip easily into the back of my pack. The color-changing makes these a little magical. I was able to add more colors on the back pages using a "refill pack" so I hope they offer more of those! I carry a tiny piece of tinfoil for color/water mixing because I find the back mixing pages a little awkward to use. When these run out, I might refill it, but I'm also eyeing the new cork pallets... I think they're even lighter! Thanks for the unique product!

My overall experience was amazing I honestly was very impressed with the products themselves but also the people that created this brand. You can really tell that they care, their customer service is phenomenal. Its by far the best customer service I've ever had experience with. I would highly recommend this business to anyone that's looking for affordable yet amazingly vibrant watercolors.
